To commemorate Viña Aresti’s 65th anniversary, Ana María and Begoña Aresti sought to produce a wine to continue to further the family’s legacy. They thus crafted Código 380, a modern wine, full of nuances, that honors its origins and finds its inspiration in the deep love for the land, the vineyard, and the wine they both learnt from their father.

“CABINA 56” commemorates the first pick-up truck owned by Vicente Aresti A., which he used for many years during each harvest. This truck model had a great distinctive feature of having a great cabin, so from the start it was caller “THE CABIN”. For more than 60 years, this classic gem of a vehicle has been part of the Aresti family. Today you can see it at our Bellavista estate.

Viña Aresti, a company of the ACW Group, one of Chile’s most prestigious family winegrowing businesses, currently produces and markets several brands around the world.
The foundations of Viña ARESTI are the passion for excellence of its founder, Vicente Aresti Astica.
After he passed, at 92, his daughters Begoña and Ana María Aresti López took over their father’s endeavor and furthered the commitment they had learnt from him.
In 1951, Vicente Aresti Astica acquired the Bellavista Estate in Curicó, a renowned winegrowing valley, and started building a family tradition of excellence in winemaking with passion at the core of their philosophy.
The experience gained in making superior wines helped strengthen the presence of Aresti wines in Chile and around the world.
In 1999 major renovations were undertaken, state-of-the-art technology was introduced in the winery, modern processing techniques were incorporated, and an underground wine cellar was built for premium wines.
In 2012, the founder’s daughters Begoña and Ana María Aresti López took over, keeping their father’s legacy and the family passion alive.
2018 marks the completion of extensive investment plan under which vineyards were reconverted, new plantations were developed, new winemaking techniques were introduced and a world-class bottling line was implemented.
Viña Aresti is managed by a team of leading professionals with strong commitment and extensive knowledge of the industry.
Jon Usabiaga – Chief Winemaker
Agricultural Engineer-Enologist from P. Universidad Católica de Chile and an active member of the National Association of Agricultural Engineers-Enologists.
Since he joined ACW in 2005, Jon has successfully aligned the style of Aresti wines and consumer tastes, for which he has been rewarded with a number of recognitions from the wine industry.
Marcelo Lorca – Agricultural Manager
Agricultural Engineer and Viticulturist from Universidad Iberoamericana with vast experience in R&D of winegrowing projects, including sustainability-oriented, traditional and organic vineyard management.
Since he joined ACW in late 2013, not only did Marcelo bring in his technical and administration expertise and his passion for grape growing and the production of wines with an identity of their own, but he also successfully linked the winemaking and production departments.

Owned by ACW Group, one of Chile’s most prestigious family winegrowing businesses, Viña Aresti is situated in Molina, Curicó valley, less than 200 km south of Santiago. New vineyards near the Claro river –Micaela, Peñaflor, and La Reserva have been added to Bellavista, the original estate.
The vineyards are situated in Curicó, Chile’s largest and most famous wine valley. With privileged climate, alluvial soil, a long dry season and a daytime/nighttime temperature differential of some 20ºC, this region offers the ideal conditions for the production of superior wines.
Bellavista: Its slightly deep soil with little rock content provides excellent conditions for varieties like Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer.
Micaela: Deep clay-loam soil with a rocky profile below one meter of depth, ideal for red varieties.
Peñaflor: Deep clay-loam, slightly acidic soil with gentle slopes mostly used to grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Carmenère, and Pinot Noir and Merlot to a lesser extent.
La Reserva: Variable soil (from clay-loam to sandy), with medium-low fertility, rolling hills and different sun exposure, perfect for the production of a wide range of grape varieties.
Grapes of the highest quality are essential for the production of superior wines. To attain the level of quality we seek, we have focused our processes on:
Sectorization of the vineyards using precision viticulture.
Intensive canopy management to enhance bunch microclimate.
Lower yields to boost fruit intensity.
FDR technology to monitor soil moisture and determine irrigation strategies.
5,000 m2 winery with storage capacity for 9 million liters, including a 1,000-barrel cellar with controlled temperature, a modern line capable bottling 6,000 bottles/hour and a Bag-in-Box packing line production.
Every year, Aresti processes close to 6 million kilos of grapes and around 8 million liters of wine that are later packed in various formats.
The winery owns stainless steel vats with capacity ranging from 1,000 to 60,000 liters in controlled temperature environments, which ensures the proper treatment to the different varieties, qualities, and origins.
